my last indie film for Cinemalaya 6, "The Leaving" with Achi and Giselle. And to tell you, "the Leaving" really is a good movie-ender. I totally love the story, the characters/actors and the lines. It was well-written. Although cliche na yung magkaka-connect yung characters sa story, i guess it was well-stitched naman. After the movie, i can still absorb how good it was. Just like "Donor" lakas din ng impact sakin. Nagising lang ako, when i saw Alwyn Uytingco na pinagkakaguluhan at naki-gulo naman ako. Gusto ko sana magpa-picture kasi sobrang naging crush ko siya sa movie, but sadly, bago pa man ako magpakuha, tumakbo na sila. Sayang. Anyway, after CCP, went straight to MOA and had dinner in Pancake House, as usual, i ordered my favorite Chocolate Chip pancake. Went to Department store to buy suspender for tomorrows event while Giselle's looking for sandals. Meron ako nagustuhang wedge, but sadly i couldn't afford to spend lalo na wala na akong savings. *sigh* While window shopping sa mga make-up, pinag-iisprayan ako ng mga perfume- Lacoste, Chariol, Vera Wang, Blvgari and etc. Ang bango bango tuloy ng braso ko that every once in a while, inaamoy ko isa-isa.

Went to CCP again for Cinemalaya. Im supposed to watch 'Ang ibig sabihin ng okay lang', but sadly, hindi ko naabutan. Also, na-sold-outan ako ng Rekrut which im so dying to watch kasi andun si Alchris Galura. *sigh* oh well, I'll try to catch the two films hopefully next year.
I watched "Techi, teknoboy at si Juana B." na hindi ko naman nagustuhan. Walang masyadong impact e, lalo na dun sa huli na kung anu anung sinabing di ko naman maintindihan. Editing wise is not good, at all. Yung katabi ko nga, react ng react na 'ang pangit.." tapos, "tsk.tsk" ang puro naririnig ko.
Oh well, after the movie went to ramp to see Rachel, Ann, Belle and Chelle and told them not to watch Techi na lang on saturday. Na-sold-outan si twin ng "two funerals" so she watched "the leaving" nalang. So there, "Two Funerals" as i expected was good. The storyline and the actors are good. I think mas okay si Tessie Tomas this year in Two Funerals rather in Sanglaan. Two-thumbs up! My last ticket for tonight was Shorts A, all the shorts was good. Na-disappoint lang ako ng konti sa 'Despedida' because 'Bonsai' has much clearer story. Mas damang dama. I love 'Boca', 'Breakfast with Lolo' and 'Dalaw'. When i was about to go home, sobrang lumakas yung hangin at ulan that although i have an umbrella, basang basa pa din ako. Good thing, may nakasabay ako na taga-Ballet Philippines at parehas kaming sobrang kapit sa payong- Basang basa at takot na takot na dahil sa bagyo. We have no choice but to take a cab pa-baclaran and when we got there, got each others contacts and we pff. Thank god may diretchong pa-dasma na jeep kaya di na ako masyado nabasa. Bumagyo na't lahat, di pa rin ako nagpaawat. All for the love of Indie Films.

Went to Buendia for another interview. I was in a hurry kasi mali yung nasakyan kong bus. It was suppose to be MRT Buendia, not LRT Buendia. Ang tanga din nung driver kasi, i reminded him na MRT Buendia two times. Malay ko bang LRT Buendia pala sila. So, sumakay ako ng papuntang sakayan pa-mrt which i dont know what the plaque said, pero dahil sinabi ng ale' na, 'yan sakyan mo', sumakay na ako. Then, sumakay pa ako pa-mrt na sobrang traffic papunta kasi puro eskinita. Naba-badtrip na talaga ako. i even asked myself to calm down. Inhale-exhale. When i came to MRT, what do i expect? Haba ng pila. Buti nalang it's 3 stations away from taft. Whew. Pagod na ako, wala pa ako sa interview. Shoot! I came by the office na sobrang pagod. As usual, the interview lasted for a minute or so and im off. We'll call you blah.blah.blah nalang naintindihan ko pero nagulat ako sa confidence na pinakita ko that time kasi for the past interviews, parang tinatamad ako or parang wala ako sa mood. But this time, parang iba. Okay pala sakin ang mapagod muna.
After the interview, bumalik ako sa taft, lunch in Metropoint. I decided to took orange cab pa-MOA para dun sumakay pa-CCP, but just like kanina. Stupidity hits again. Nagpabalik-balik ako sa LRT Buendia-MOA and i ended up riding a cab. Stupid stupid stupid.

Nakahinga na ako when i started roaming around the CCP. It's been a year. I saw Mariss and the rest of COM41 including Papabear (Paul Putong) and Mama Bear (Rea Abella). They've been a friend at sinamahan muna nila ako for awhile habang wala pa si Lobelle. Nagtingin tingin muna ako ng gallery ng mga entries. I missed this. Sa tagal kong pagpro-promote and uber excitement, finally. Im gonna be able to watch the entries. Tween and I watched first, 'Limbunan' It is a story of a Maguindanoan tradition in which Ayesah (the main character) is bethrowed to a man she doesn't love. She is torn choosing between love and loyalty to her family. To top of it all, i find the story okay. Although mabagal yung phasing ng story, i find the characters line very very good. Kakaunti lang, pero sumasapol sa puso.
The second full-length that we watched is 'Donor', casted by Meryll Soriano and Baron Geisler. Eto nalang ang comment ko: Handsdown. Ibang klase yung movie na to. Sobrang bumilib ako kay Meryll and Baron. Lalo na sa Director, Mark Meily. Ang Husay.
After movie, hang-over pa kami talaga. Excited na ako tuloy mapanood yung iba. Next: Rekrut, Two Funerals plus the shorts.
